So what you're saying is kinda pointless. Like this thread.

I would bet most people by far would want straight parents. There are adult kids of same sex parents that are speaking out that wanted the same. No one gets to choose their parents. But if they could they'd want them to be straight.

Like I said above, when you compare same sex parenting to dysfunction, you are making the case against same sex parenting. So what you are saying has a very fine point to it, albeit unintentional. I am not against same-sex parenting but let's not pretend that it is even close to opposite-sex parenting because it isn't.

I feel sorry for a little girl who will never know what it's like to have a mother.

Great! Does anyone have to wonder why the human civilization is self imploding these days?
Stuff like this has been going on since probably forever, a relative raising a child as their own to cover up a pregnancy/illegitimate birth, etc. Fathers, brothers, female relatives mentoring young girls going through puberty and baby bottles have been around for a long time too.

Don't need to read the article. The headlines says all that needs to be known. Two homosexuals have one of their mothers give them a baby that they can pass on as their own. Did I miss anything.

There are unfortunately many people who wish they had different parents. I'd be willing to bet that this man is not one of them.

The biggest reason IMO that any person would wish for a different set of parents in this situation is because of the hate of others as opposed to who their parents were.

I have a friend whose wife died at 34 of pancreatic cancer, one year after giving birth to their daughter. He as a widower is raising their daughter, now five, alone. He’s doing an outstanding job. She is thriving and happy and has aunts and grandmothers who will always impart female influence into her life.

It’s ideal of course for a child to have a mother and a father. In absence of that arrangement, loving adults of any gender or sexual preference can be outstanding parents as well.

It is their own every bit as much as any other couple that does similar and it is done quite a bit. The baby has the DNA of both parents.

You did, but if you can type all of that, you can read the article.

The difference being that the girl in your story was tragically denied a mother, the little girl in the subject story was purposely denied a mother.

I'm not comparing it to dysfunction necessarily, but different preferences. For example, if you're a Republican maybe you regret that you were raised by very liberal parents who you don't feel share your values. Maybe you think your parents were overprotective, but maybe as far as they were concerned, they kept you safe.
