if your statement bolded is true and Mexicans by a large percentage are christian, perhaps democrats and the democratic national party are premature to assume Mexican immigrants, the fastest growing ethnic group in America, will overwhelmingly vote democrat as their political influence grows in american politics.
I know hundreds of Mexican Americans and I know hundreds of conservative Mexican Americans. The liberal conspiracy to import voters is low hanging fruit used by idiot right wing pundits to stir up trouble. I'm sad to see it being effective.

For whatever reason, it's only white "born again" evangelicals that have issues with separation of church and state and believe their faith should be the law of the land. African-American evangelicals agree on almost everything theologically but they are able to keep their faith and their politics separate. Same for Hispanic Catholics, most white Catholics, and white non-evangelical Mainline Protestants.
Once again, it's ONLY white "born again" evangelical Protestants that want to force their specific faith on all Americans.

It would have been an actual miracle had your mother conceived you without a man's sperm impregnating one of her eggs.
