Damn! - I see the transgender weightlifter got selected,.... now I have to go through with my threat to boycott watching the entire games as a protest over the national olympic body crapping on women's sport.
Hopefully the concept of fairness will creep back into sports, and I be able to watch the next Olympics.
What’s going to end up happening here involve such a common sense thinking that it’s almost a logical to think we have to even discuss this. Women’s sports will be completely dominated and taken over by transgender women. Biologically born women will no longer exist in “women’s sports”. And then will it be women’s sports? Transgender athletes really need to form their own leagues. We need men’s, women’s and transgender leagues for athletics. It’s the only fair way this can be accomplished.
Everyone is using emotions I think these topics through when we should be following biology and biology alone.
There's no such thing as "transgender" though.
If "transgender" men form their own league it will just be another league of men playing against each other. They would all just happen to have the same mental illness.
I haven't seen female (xx dna) athletes have the courage to stand up and demand males (xy dna) be excluded from their sports.
Until i see adult female athletes en masse willing to fight for themselves, each other, girl athletes to protect exclusively female competitive sports, consequences be damned, I have no sympathy for their plight with trans interlopers.
