I don't see Google as having a company policy to squelch conservative views. But it would not surprise me if some engineers go rogue and put things in the code that favor some views. Google is a money machine and they are not going to do anything to jeopardize that, and alienating half the country with a bone-headed political move that serves no business interest seems far fetched to me. Same with Facebook.

I agree that those companies need to be scrutinized by the FTC and others. The amount of power they have over us is significant.

Oh, so you think Alex Jones and his Infowars have less bias and more credibility?

Yeah, it should be despisers and gnashers of teeth.

There are gullible people who allow the MSM fake news think for them. It's the lazy way of anti Trumpers who want to have the words to accuse without any knowledge of which they speak.

Just watch the interviews on YT where the interviewee asks a college student why they are protesting and they say "we were just told to come here", or are given offensive quotes that Obama said that they believe Trump said, and then they are shocked to find out that Barry said it.

ahhh the old citing You tube videos as evidence of 'media' fake news.

That's why we need to define media.

Technically media represents social media (which is youtube) and yes there are left and right accounts that twist the message.

Sean Hannity, Don Lemon, Rachel Maddow are media but they aren't news journalists.

When Trump attacks the press corp saying they are fake news -- he is suggesting the people trying to report the FACTS - are all fake.

There is a big difference...and the fact you chose to cite You Tube videos as evidence of media bias shows that the problem isn't with the messnger but with those receiving the message.

You cannot go to Sean Hannity and think you are going to get all the facts.

You can't watch Maddow and think you are going to get facts.

You can't watch silly you tube videos that are product of self proclaimed biased sites and complain they aren't telling you the truth.

One doesn't need to be told what to think to realize Trump is an amoral criminal who is not worthy of the office.

Face it,
  • Trump lies all of the time, sometimes several lies packed into one sentence.
  • Trump is impulsive and insulting.
  • Trump does not understand his own role in government, nor the limits of his own authority.
  • Trump misuses his office to enrich his friends.
  • Trump never pivoted, he never reached out to attempt to be president for all Americans.
People can see all that without relying on commentary from anyone. Trump is responsible for the bad press he receives, you can't blame that on the "msm". The excuse is getting old.

The electorate and people disagreed with you during election time(save the "but, but, popular vote" as I will just laugh at that like I am doing now)

read the report. Mueller disagreed on the criminal front.. NO Charges(save the "but, but the OLC recommendation, Ill just laugh at that too, there would be sealed inducements if that was the only reason)

Actually mostly true but only to liberal snowflakes that should not go outside without a hardhat and should instead stay in their safe space.

It isnt an excuse when its true.

The fact that you don't like that fact doesn't make it less true..the media has lied so much about Trump, then have all their talking heads repeat those lies... my God how many times did you see the talking heads sit around the panel on CNN and say that Trump said all Mexicans are rapists, this happened lots of times, far too many to document; not that the brain washed liberals would care because Orange man bad.

We get it, you don't like Trump.. too bad. He is still the President.

Yes, which is the point of my OP. The media goes on and on and on about all Trump's lies and lecturing Trump supporters about being factual and honest yet they take many of Trump's comments completely out of context and in some cases flat out lie. Trump says and tweets some dumb things and he acts unpresidential way too often but he at least gets called out for it. The media can lie their ass off in order to gaslight the public and they get away with it. No one says a word. Not only do they not get called out by their colleagues when they're being blatantly dishonest, many of their blatant lies have been used to further promote their false narrative.

Where did I say that? Alex Jones and InfoWars are far to the right and are as partisan as they come.
One of the few networks that graphic got right.
