Unless he gets killed by other prisoners (a distinct possibility), he will be alive a lot longer than two years even if sentenced to death. He probably won’t even get his trial until he’s 23.
Your compassion for the people killed today is really shining through your sarcasm here.
We discussed earlier in this thread why armed civilians might make the choice to not wave their gun around in public during a chaotic active shooting scene. You can either go back and read and pick up on a thing or two, or just keep slinging your helpful sarcasm around. Your call.
Puleeze.
The only reason people haven’t trotted it out this time and/or are trying to pretend that they believed it would have always been a bad idea is because this happened in TX.
We sure heard a different tune last week when it was CA.
And would have heard that same tune if this had happened in NY or some other “liberal” state.
Interesting how common sense rears its head when faced with reality.
"In 2018, domestic extremists killed at least 50 people in the U.S., a sharp increase from the 37 extremist-related murders documented in 2017, though still lower than the totals for 2015 (70) and 2016 (72)."
Such a horrible tragedy. So many people dead and wounded. Looking to find more information on the shooter's motive. I do wonder how much longer these mass shootings will continue to be ignored by the federal government.
Ignored or manipulated by both sides?
It's a win win for the 2 headed beast.
One head says "See that, we all need guns so that we can be safe."
The other Head says " See that we need to ban gun so that we can be safe."
Our elected reps love a good tragedy. It took Rahm Emanuel to fess it up.
The solution? Start by Registering all fire arms and transactions. No more private sales. No more private gifting. Shrinks must report questionable patients. Background checks to include the Shrink data base.
link us to the quote where trump says maiming and killing is okay.
You left out part of my post. Why?
Quote:
People who otherwise would keep these feelings to themselves now think they have license to maim and kill at will because their hero, Trump, says it's okay. At least that's how these unstable people see it.
