Righties don't have any more sense of humour than 'lefties' so you can stop right there. They got Bill Maher fired years ago because they didn't like his humor.

"Political correctness" all depends on who is doing the talking and IF they are Team Red or Team Blue. Don't even try to deny it

Regarding bolded you're just so incredibly wrong it's a joke. But whatever, I'm done discussing it. You wanna go tit for tat about how many people on the left are calling for the firing and people losing their jobs and or sponsors and that whole bit, versus the right, you'll lose that bet.

Some conservatives are recommending Sticks and Stones because Chapelle makes fun of the LBGT people. They should be thankful he didn't make fun of Crooked Trump because we all know they would be singing a different tune.

I do agree that molest/rape is no joking matter. And last but not least, I agree with Chappelle when he said he doesn't believe those mother *****.

He doesn't call out Trump because he says Trump isn't the problem...it's the millions of his supporters that are the problem.

My thoughts exactly! If you look at Rotten Tomatoes, 99% of viewers liked the show. I think people are tired of walking on egg shells these days.

“Political correctness is America's newest form of intolerance, and it is especially pernicious because it comes disguised as tolerance. It presents itself as fairness, yet attempts to restrict and control people's language with strict codes and rigid rules.''

None of you were saying that when Davidson said Crenshaw looked like every assassin from a porn movie.

All of a sudden there were sacred cows all over the place.

But I am mad as heck at Rotten Tomatoes. They went outside of what should be their job description, and it's bull puckey.

I've never seen an assassin in a porn movie! Wonder if Davidson is watching snuff movies?

When I was a kid, I used to sit through episodes of Benny Hill on PBS while waiting for Monty Python to start. Benny Hill is the stupidest thing to appear on the airwaves until Youtube was invented but apparently people liked it. Probably the same people who thought Monty Python was the stupidest thing on the airwaves.

The only point I've tried to make is that conservatives are only recommending this special because they think it is upsetting the other side and that is pretty much all anyone cares about anymore. They'll support any policy or idea - whether it makes sense or not, whether it serves their own interests or not, whether it aligns with their own values or not - just because it "triggers" the other side.

I doubt the pundits on twitter who are so heartily endorsing Chappelle have even watched the thing.

Yeah, I told DH "I'm not sure if that's funny - I don't know what assassins in porn look like."

It just funny and liberals like it to. Only those who feed on outrage would have a problem with it. It's just old fashioned comedy, nothing controversial. AND YET....here we are.
