In the end, you either appreciate and support freedoms, or you don't.
Some understand that freedoms deserve much space. Others want to limit freedoms due to personal pettiness, narrow-mindedness, and political grandstanding. The latter group is an insult to American values and thought.
It’s not narrow mindedness to want to protect young children from predators. That’s called being a champion of children’s rights.
I don't seem to find sexual genital mutilation protected anywhere in The Constitution.
It is likely that you didn't see it, because you chose not to see it. We call that willfully ignorant of the facts.
In Fl we have always been LGBTQ friendly until Ronnie showed up with his puritan transplants. Human decency has always ruled, there no sex taught in grade schools, never has been. People protect children, we have been doing great things in schools before Ronnie. We live and let live, least we used to.
Guess what? YOU DON'T NEED TO. Just as someone else doesn't need to understand things you like or value. You can simply ignore it, as something foreign to you, and save all that energy, frustration, and self-agony. And we certainly don't need to hear from you concerning your 'not understanding'.
It's not even about understanding and agreeing with others.
It's about freedoms and freedom of choice. Ever heard of those before?

As a child the child predators who molested me were relatives.
And I always advocate for putting one’s money where their mouth is. That’s what makes capitalism work. Where I spend money on goods and services and invest are all companies whose ethics match mine.
Don't care unless they push it to kids. Go be gay don't care. But in the case of target and kholes ...they seem to be keenly focused on kids. So they can get boycotted.

Could you define what shoving pride in your face means? Do you mean people walking up to you with pride paraphernalia, asking for a donation to support their cause? Or do you mean having a display of gay pride shirts or what-not sitting in the store?
I don't really shop except for grocery stores and Walmart, so I haven't been subject to any of this.
