The Secretary of the Air Force has reimplemented the Voluntary Retired Return to Active Duty Program in an effort to leverage the talents of our highly trained and experienced officer and enlisted military retirees to help minimize the service's critical manning shortages. Application window opens Feb. 8, 2024.

Applications must be submitted by Jan. 31, 2026, and the program allows up to 1,000 retired officer or enlisted personnel to active duty at any given time.

Holy hell. I know it’s an election year but this is madness.

Brandon is going too far. If no one wants to join the military to serve under Brandon, then pay them more, leave retirees out of it.

In the words of Clayton Morris. "We need people to jump into the meat grinder"

Biden needs bodies for his wars and if he gets reelected i am sure we are going to have a full scale war.

Does this include those service members removed because they chose not to receive the COVID shot?

I can't wait to hear Biden’s story of how he led his troops into battle and fought Lee at Gettysburg....

Perhaps he ought to return to military duty. After all, he is a veteran of the French and Indian war, right? That was some years before he got that job as a trucker.

" Just last year, when I was speaking to General Eisenhower about dealing with the Viet Cong in North Africa, he told me that he had never met a more brilliant civilian military strategemizer since Field Marshall Corn Pop, so we decided that my strategerific plan of using Sherman's troops to push Hannibal out of the Congo was how we can end racism in Finland. Come on man, you can't tell me I don't know my military stuff."

Let's start by transferring government employees from other departments to the military. Plenty of members of the DoE, EEOC and various DEI hires would be better off if they experienced the real world.

What's wrong with this?

Sounds like a great idea. These people are already trained, experienced, and were successful enough to retire honorably.

This is voluntary. I would guess there are a number of successful military career people who miss the security and comradery of the military.

Where does the post say it's wrong? Never.....However, many do not want to get involved with a woke military commanded by a Chinese bribe taking president.
