The ancient egyptians are my most favorite black men and women. I love to visit egypt and see the pyramids. I love to see the pictures on the wall with the drawings of the black faces in the pyramids. I notice that all of the egyptians depicted on the walls in the pyramids are brownskin or darkskin. That tells me most of the lightskin black people in america today have come from whites mixing during wars and slavery. Its amazing what black people did with no engineering classes, colleges, or education in this time period. But still built the greatest architectural structures in american history. King tut and queen neferttiti look like most regular black young men and women these days in america.

All single black mothers who have raised black male children who have never been in a gang, never committed a crime, never been arrested, have gone to college and become productive members of society.

Joe Frazier.

Blacker and more soulful than Muhammad Ali, he knocked "the greatest" on his ass.

Joe was and is the better man.

As far as "favorite" it is a group of men not just a person..........

Tuskegee Airmen History (http://www.tuskegeeairmen.org/Tuskegee_Airmen_History.html - broken link)

they fought for their country, besides being looked down upon and proved that a black person was as capable as any of fighting the front line and flying aircraft.

White bomber crews came to request them for escort because of their known fierce fighting abilities against the Germans.

They are a role model for blacks as well as American's in general.Valor and patriotism knows no color.

We are all American in the end and at some level we must be united in the cause of preserving our liberty.

Thanks! I wish I could do something about Robert's graveyard. It was sad to see it in that condition. But his church is extremely poor and I live in New Jersey.

Robert and I switched patrols that day. Originally, I was to lead the morning patrol and he was to lead the afternoon patrol. Another sad thing about the situation, Robert was scheduled to leave combat conditions in three days. His tour in Vietnam was almost over.

He died saying that his mother expected him home in a week.
