No I haven't been proven wrong ,I'm right, Many hispanic countries (Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, colombia etc.) are by majority Mestizo(Indian-white mix)or predominatley Native american, Mestizo Hispanics heavily outnumber all other types of Hispanics, These are just facts.

Most mixing through out Hispanic americas history was between indian women and white men, with the exception of the spanish carribean.

Indeed, in South Florida it is often impossible to tell a Cuban or South American from a "Gringa" unless they open their mouth or tell you their last names.

I doubt there's anything special about South Florida vis-a-vis Hispanic racism, however.

California is known for bad relations between Mexicans and Blacks. Maybe New York is different, since the majority of Hispanics there are Puerto Rican and Dominican. Dominicans, especially, have a lot of mixture with blacks.
Brazilians are not Hispanic

I wonder why blacks are so racist to Asians and whites? Cuts both ways.

And where do you live? In the land of Make Believe? I dont have to know half of the population to see what we are doing to ourselves. Go into a Black community...which consists of low income housing and other ghettos more than anything else. The ones that do not live there act all high and mighty, and don't really want to associate themselves with the 'less educated' population, but then again, I don't really blame them. See, I have lived in all kinds of areas to know. You have some of that love that lifestyle and you see it in the music that we put out. I guess you don't see the Younger population eating up whatever come out on the radio, and wanting to live up to that. Do I need to say more? You act as if there isn't a problem. Hopefully that smack upside your head knocked some sense into it.

No I haven't, nor can you point out one time that I have been, I just proved you wrong again by presenting evidence to support my claims, you haven't.

Check the links. Mestizos are the largest group of hispanic people in which they make up the majority of many hispanic countries such as for example.

I have lived in South Florida for 12 years and I have seen racism in action, both against blacks and Hispanics. But no more than I see it anywhere else in the States. On the other hand, racism is a side effect of ignorance and, sometimes, lack of education. Could it be that there is more ignorance in South FLorida then in most other areas and this is why you experience what you wrote?

I am from Northern Italy. Until the 70's and early 80's in the North of italy there was racism against southern Italians. It was mainly the uneducated people and those struggling to make it financially that displayed it. Over the last 30 years things have changed in Italy: not only has the South seen a huge economic improvement, but also the North has experience more education and economic wealth. Racism against southern Italians, if it has not disappeared, it is certainly so limited that I do not notice it anymore when I go back home (although it has now switched focus over certain kinds of immigration, so I am not saying Italy has resolved its racism problem.)

South Florida is a region of sharp extremes between the wealthy and the poor. I am not surprised to see more tension there, especially among those ethnicities that struggle the most with staying above the water.
Bueno Amico!

Historically there have been racial divisions among dark skin and light skin Cubans that go all the back to the importation of slaves from Africa to Cuba. The Cubans of Spanish descent basically used race to concentrate economic and political power in Cuba amongst Cubans of Spanish descent. They basically did the same thing when they migrated to South Florida in terms of their treatment of Black Americans.

Also light skin Cubans also tend to look down upon other Latinos, which is why the current Latino darling of the Republican Party, Marco Rubio, isn't such a sure thing in terms of drawing non Cuban Latinos.

Well, and because Cubans are the only group of Latinos that typically vote Republican.

I don't get that Hispanics dislike African Americans vibe here in New York. From what I have observed, the number of Dominican and Puerto Rican women who are dating African American men outnumbers the ones who are dating White men.

Dominican and Puerto Rican women do not have a fetish for White men, the same way many Asian women do.
