I read the article. Obama himself didn't comment but one of his "trusted" people did.
This is 3 now..Wright, Van Jones and Acorn. Once the "stink" hits the press he walks away..no comment, no defense. He sends his people to make the public comments.
"Lewis said that she "cannot and I will not defend the actions of the workers depicted in the video, who have since been terminated. But it is clear that the videos are doctored, edited, and in no way the result of the fabricated story being portrayed".
So try again, where are the tapes or the names of those that excused the behavior.
they first denied the tapes were real even though they had fired the employees on the tapes and said they were bring suit against the ones making the tapes and Fox.
The next day they said, does not matter if they do not get funding from congress because it is the folks that send them money that counts, today they are outraged...
I heard the head of Acorn (Bertha) on the radio this morning on the way to work.
In about 2-3 sentences she covered all the bases.
She blamed the Bush administration.
She blamed the right wing Republicans.
She said all those films were an act of racism against them.
Then she went on to say that she started an internal investigation and upheld that Acorn was a clean organization (paraphrase..don't recall her exact words).
Fox news just aired a video of an undercover person claiming to be assisting a prostitute being told to change her job classification to receive assistance to buy a home and to classify underage prostitutes as dependents.
Several films were made of Acorn advising people.
Several of the workers got fired.
Acorn has not sued for a "doctored" film.
Because you cannot sue for that.
Again, film was doctored, the set-up was viewed as a joke, as the facts show.
