Moon landing has nothing to do with Civil Rights in that context.

Got anything else?

No.

What the hell is wrong with people?

The sad thing is, I wouldn't be surprised if this debate appears in Massachusetts or the San Francisco Bay area a few years from now.

It already has. In fact, I would guess that some local school districts are already teaching it during gay history month. And I would think that most conservatives would accept that since it's a local school district issue.

In the UK, LGBT History Month is part of the curriculum across the country.

Gay history month? This country is making itself look so foolish. Thank God for the EU, as we still don't look quite as ridiculous in comparison.

Garbage like "gay history month" is the stuff that will turn people who used to be pretty ambivalent about homosexuality into people who are growing more and more disgusted with it.

Really? So to you, there is no such thing as gay history? And the only noteworthy things that gays have done are extreme sexual practices?

There's also a history of vaccum cleaners. I don't find it quite as important and imperative for young minds to focus on as American history, British history, French history, German history, Oriental history, etc. Yet I still find it more worthwhile than gay history.
