Yes, because free market health insurance has done such a wonderful job for the citizens of the U.S.
Elections have consequences. Obama won, and Democrats control Congress. If voters don't like the decisions being made, they are free to vote for the do-nothing Republicans in November.
Why doesn't Obama push for " free" health care for everyone with taxes paying for it?
Why go about it bassackwards by using insurance companies as the medium?
The answer is cuz that would draw even more opposition.
This way, Obama can lash out at "evil" insurance companies.
How many years/months do you think health insurance companies will be in business under the proposed health care bill?
Not for long!
THEN Obama will state that the govt will take over paying the medical bills directly financed via even higher taxes.

This Obamacare is really starting to sound like Hillary's abortion back in the day.

There has not been any "free market health insurance". That is why we are in the mess we are now.
Check the legislation that allowed HMO's to come to furition in 1973 and then check the HMO Act of 1992. It has been 18 years since there has been anything resembling a semi-free market for health insurance.
True free market for actual health care was before the health insurance product came to be. Back when everyone paid out of pocket for every bit of their health care needs. Bring back that system and we'll have real "social justice"!
By the time these suits reach Court Obama will have completed his second term
Now that is the funniest thing I've heard all week. 2nd term LOL
