Contrary to popular belief, it is not all about YOU. Last time I checked we held a free election in November of 2008, which by a majority elected a candidate who campaigned on health care reform, among other issues. Better luck next time.

I agree that last night's vote has set the stage for a separation of some form between conservative and liberal America. It will remain to be seen what that will constitute, but it is obvious that such diametrically opposed view points cannot co-exist. There cannot be a system in which one group supports another and gladly accepts the burden of another man's problems. History has shown us this much.

Sadly, the leftists will be unhappy with the system that they crave and will eventually wake up. Keep in mind (for those who have not read Marx) that Marx lamented the fall of feudalism, such that the serfs were liberated from "thier rightful superiors". Socialism is not a system of freedom, it is one of servitude. Those who like to live under the yoke of an authoritarian government in exchange for "treats' are welcome to do so. The rest of us will be seeking the system upon which the nation was founded, and that was not the Socials States of America.

America had already butt ****ed us before and of course again. It was just like the Great Depression. All America wants is money from all of us. They never meant for our well being of Latnios and Blacks. They just use us as profit of cheap labor. It's sad how us forginers are used in this way

Should take a few days to see the new polls, but I'm expecting some big changes. I can't remember the Congress ever telling the people to go pluck themselves that way they did last night. Should be huge.

In case you forgot, we had an election in 2008 where the people who wanted healthcare reform were voted in to power. So the government did listen to the people. The problem for you is that the people in November 2008 did not agree with you. Maybe they do now, but will they in November of 2010 and 2012? Possibly. Only time will tell.

Elections have consequences. I'm sorry you are unhappy about this set of consequences, but that's life. I was upset with a lot of what the Bush administration did--as were many other people. But somehow the Democrats were able to handle this with a bit more maturity without hopping on the crazy train. Sure, there were left-wing loonies who attacked Bush with great vitriol, but the national party kept them at bay. Unfortunately the GOP has let the crazies take over this time around, and now there's no going back.

He is not the first to demand for revolution when they can't get their will through democracy.

Clearly you can't see the distinction between hating government and hating the current government.

You know what? The passage of this Bill may be the best thing that could have happened to the country. I live near D.C. and we were at the protests yesterday. People are furious! Not just rich white people...we saw a huge diversity in the crowd. Black, White, Hispanic, Republicans, Democrats, Tea-Party, older people, young people....I think everyone was represented.

Not one Republican voted yes. Many Democrats voted NO. Many of the ones that voted yes, were bribed and threatened and eventually caved.

Why do I think this might be a good thing for the country? Because now maybe folks will WAKE UP! This Bill is unpopular with a majority of Americans. Do you think they are going to vote for the morons who supported this legislation? Hell No!

Most of us want health care reform. Most of us want all Americans to be covered by insurance. But most of us are smart enough to know back room sleezy politics when we see it. We need health care reform...but not like this!

The Supreme Court is going to enjoy destroying this Bill. I can't wait! President Obama insulted them just a few short months ago in front of the nation. Kamra is a b*tch!
