He has the respect of his players and seems to have all the tools. Will Tebow become a John Elway caliber QB?

No - But think it will be interesting to watch him. The more I read about him the more intriquing he is. though an NFL superstar i do not believe. Maybe more of a novelty

Did you hear that Tim Tebow threw His first NFL pass the other day? It was a TD too! The PA announcer at Invesco Field played Handel's "Messiah" after it happened! The world rejoiced! Lepers were healed! The naked were clothed! The blind saw! (Actually, the blind were given their sight two seconds before the snap so they could witness such a joyous moment for themselves!) Immediately after the XP went through, stadium security passed offertory collection plates around each section! They collected $369,717.84! Then at halftime, Tebow and His disciples on offense had supper at midfield! He broke the bread, gave it to His disciples and said, "Take this, all of you, and eat it! This is My body, which will be given up for TDs!" What a joyous day it was in Denver, and in the NFL!

More than likely.

There is no question that he has the physical talent, intelligence and demeanor to play in this league. The only question about him was whether he could fix his mechanics and he's got Josh McDaniels to fix that. He's the same guy who built up Brady from a slightly above average game manager to arguably the greatest quarterback currently in the NFL, made Matt Cassel look like a Pro Bowler (and a very rich man in the process) and now has Kyle Orton looking like a borderline MVP candidate. Not hard to imagine that he'd make Tebow into a truly elite quarterback.

I imagine that whenever Tebow is ready to take over the reigns, he will be a force to be reckoned with.

On the level of Elway...no way. At best he might make a pro-bowl 2x in his career. If he were to get moved to FB it might work out better for him.

My boy McCoy down in the Dog Pound has a better chance to get in the same sentence as Elway.

For those of you interested, McDaniels had nothing to do with the early development of Brady. During Bradys core development years McDaniels was actually a defensive coach on the Pats. Attributing the success of Tom Brady, one of the winningest QBs ever to McDaniels, is not only disingenious and inaccurate it is also selling the head coach of the pats the last 10+ years painfully short as well as the talent of Brady himself. McDaniels added to Bradys game but is not the sole cause of his career, as Key Johnson would say, c'mon man.

Predicatble response below

Spoiler
ZOMG McDaniels was there when Brady threw 50 TD passes

So was Moss and that was one of the best all around teams of all time. It was hardly the function of one individual. Especially one on the sidelines.

This is the same arguement that people make for Buddy Ryan in Chicago for the 85 bears defense all the time, they act like the players were talentless lumps of clay that Buddy somehow shaped into an amazing unit, ignoring just how hyper-talented of a group they were.
