Well, the Giants lost b/c their FG kicker (Carney) missed his first unblocked one of the year and the Vikings' FG kicker (Longwell) made a 50 yarder w/ no time on the clock. So they finished 12-4. As expected, their injured starters did not play and their primary healthy starters only played the first half. Carr looked pretty good as a backup. Kudos to Ward for becoming the 2nd Giant rusher to break 1,000 yards. Only 4 NFL teams in history of had a pair of 1,000 yard rushers.

Now the Giants will rest for a week and prepare for a game on Jan. 10th or 11th.

Of the 5 teams in the NFC playoffs, which one scares all of you the most? I don't want to play the Eagles. I think we handle the Cardinals the easiest. Matt Ryan and the Falcons run defense doesn't scare me. The Panthers obviously are a big threat. We would have beaten the Vikings yesterday if we had played our starters for 4 quarters. The constant remains the Eagles. I hope we don't see them again.

^ I agree that the Eagles can be a very tough team if they are hitting right on all cylinders, i.e., McNabb and Westbrook are performing like they can. They were the only team to beat the Giants at home this year. But for every great game the Eagles have, they stink it up soon thereafter. I'm sure it drives Eagles fans and coaches nuts.

Well I think we will get the Iggles. I cant see them losing to MN unless of course McFumble has one of his infamous starts...

OTOH, MN plays tough at home and are usually very good against the run. I think Peterson will outplay Westbrook. The question is can Jackson hang w/ McNabb? It'll come down to turnovers. The Eagles are great at intercepting passes. Yes, the Vikings need to strip McNabb, like the way the Eagles did to Romo.

LOL @ Manning's quote:
"My plans for Cabo fell through."

Good to see all of the Giants should be ready by the time their first playoff game comes, but too bad about Madison's broken ankle and going on IR.

About 36 hours to go before the big playoff game. On the Leno show, if the Eagles lose, Kevin has to shave his mustache. But if the Giants lose, John has to shave his head. Not so fair. But that's OK, the Giants should win.
