The most disturbing aspect was the play calling... Once you see that he was severely limited, why continue to run the lead draw. I know at least one time he scrambled (limped) around the end for almost 8 yards.. it was hard to watch.. why make such a silly play call.

Way to go Shanny...
Early report from a reliable source is saying it's an MCL, which is serious, but not nearly anything like an ACL. Griffin will be ready by training camp.

Is the field always in that bad of condition? Seemed horrible.

OK, I know people get tired of me/Packer talk but Washington should get in touch with Packers. They put money into Lambeau field but the surface is awesome, no longer frozen. It is a mixture of natural/synthetic in sand, heated and they put grow lights on it, it is quite the operation. I'm sure we're talking major money but NFL teams aren't exactly poor!

Now they were talking on TV about weather conditions there, trying to maintain fields, hello, upper midwest is brutal. Soldier field in Chgo. is bad but the field yesterday looked worse and believe me, that is not saying much. I would think the NFL would get involved considering the injuries.

As a side note, I got a question answered about the college game, read options, etc. published in the Packers Ask Vic column today. He is not in favor of it and says when QBs keep getting injured, it will die down. Of course, he is old school, stand in the pocket, only run if you have to type QB!

Good point. The field in washington was a disgrace. In 2013 theres no reason why the field should look like it did 40-50 years ago.

yep, ACL, LCL....possibility of 12-14 month recovery.

Quite possible that Robert Griffin III will miss the entire 2013 NFL season. Jesus ****ing christ.

Way to go, Shanny. RG3 has the heart of a warrior. He will not willingly come out of the game, and I don't blame him at all. It is the coaches responsibility and they should've played Kirk Cousins coming out of halftime in the 3rd quarter.

Awful, just awful and for what, he could have come out of the game after the 2 TDs, let Cousins go in, no words to describe it, so stupid.

I had an injury similar to what he experienced when I was in high school and my knee has never been the same. I lost agility and speed because of it and I have had the injury happen again when I was 22. The doctors told me that once it happens, it can happen easier each and every time.
