This week's result: Cowboys lose to the Redskins: 34-23

Final 2015 Regular Season Record: (4-12)

So there ya have it. The worst season since '89...

Who do we need in the draft the most?

a franchise QB to ultimately replace romo, and a franchise running back, some one like a tony dorset or emmit smith. and then they need help in the secondary, at least one good shut down corner.

dont forget that this season the cowboys had to deal with a rash of injuries to their top players, romo out for most of the season, bryant out for most of the season, and many defensive injuries as well. and that can throw the balance of a team off, and cause discombobulation among the rest of the players. granted the cowboys have holes to fill, and places where they can improve the team. for instance they need a franchise running back. mcfadden is good, and managed to last the season without going down with injuries, but for how long? he was picked up to be a third down back to supplement the other backs at the beginning of the season.

they also need a franchise QB to ultimately replace romo, since he is getting long in the tooth, and also getting somewhat delicate as well. and a good shut down corner back would be good as well.

Even with their key players healthy and playing, the Cowboys have not won much with them.

The Cowboys need an extensive overhaul. First, Jerry Jones needs to get out of football operations completely. He does not know much about football. He signs underachieving players to huge salaries. The Cowboys do not have much salary cap space to retain or acquire better players. Second, the Cowboys should hire a general manager who knows football and can bring in quality guys. Third, the Cowboys build the team for the future. The future goes beyond Tony Romo and Dez Bryant.

rubbish. the big problem this season was that without the key players, like romo and bryant, the offense wasnt moving the ball consistently, and thus the defense satyed on the field far longer than they should have. note that the cowboys were in nearly every game until the fourth quarter, and by that time the defense was pretty much gassed and had a time trying to stop the other teams offense.

Other than possibly the Carr contract, who else did they sign to a bad contract?

He is going to be tempted to do it, you just know it. Jerry has admitted that he was enamored with Manziel and wanted to draft him in 2014 but people in his inner circle talked him out of it and into drafting Zach Martin instead.
