Dropping the first two games of the season to beatable teams (i.e. Rams and Buccaneers) is unacceptable. The Panthers can trend upward in regards to wins, or it can have players and coaches separate involuntarily from the team.

Cam Newton has a decision to make: win now in order to win later, or get the hell out and not play football again. I am okay with him not playing football again. There are better quarterbacks that want to play for the Panthers and win.

They should finish better than that team did (2-14 IIRC), but expect a lot of roster and coaching turnover this off-season.

Deja Vu again? Starting QB gets injured before the third game of the season potentially leaving a untested guy to start....again. Yuck.

The only saving grace right now is the other NFC South teams are far from together themselves.

Well, I hope better things for Carolina, but should they part ways with Ron Rivera, I will be first in line to Campaign to have him come to Washington. Because, I know Jay Gruden is getting fired at the end of this season, and to have a good defensive coach come in like Rivera, it's exactly what the Redskins need. I think Rivera is a heck of a coach.

I would like to see Ron Rivera return for the 2020 season. Rivera's stay is dependent on the Panthers showing up for the regular season and making smart game decisions that produce wins.

Cam Newton is faking a foot injury. He is not practicing this week.

Hell of an effort today all around. Kyle Allen threw the ball well. The defense with 8 sacks and two INTs. This is the football we can play. I hope they stick with Allen against Houston. Let’s see what he can do against actual competition.

I think we can safely conclude that TJ Watt beat the quarterback ability right out of him last year. The Madea and church outfits, I have no idea.

Train Turner is out so Daryl Williams is playing RG against Houston and Greg Little will start at LT. Houston’s pass rush will be a true test for Little.

But maybe Cam actually bought into it and is paying the price. Then again, he always seemed to lack the commitment and drive to go with his physical ability.

Can't wait till they move on from him. I'd like to be able to root for the home team, but I just can't with this fool being the face of it.
