Extreme is the new name for Standard. I saw the same thing on my bill last week and chatted with the support line. (See the new names here: Network Improvements for TWC - Internet). I still need to call on the phone this week and see if I can get my rate reduced.. paying $57.99 now for Standard/Extreme internet alone.

I'm on a promo rate of $30 for Standard aka 'Extreme' on Earthlink, but that will be ending in March or April. Too bad Goog Fiber won't be ready for at least another year or so.

Service is crawling tonight. Less than .5mbps down despite normal 10mbps up. Anyone else having similar issues? Netflix almost unwatchable. Buffering every 30 seconds. :/

Mine was slow this morning and completely out for about 2 hours mid-day....they seem to be having intermittent slowness and outages since the major outage (last week? it's happening frequently enough I can't recall anymore! ).

Yes, started watching Netflix shows at 9:00 and noticed that they started at standard definition but eventually came through as HD.

Is TWC working on their network to stabilize performance? I ask because not only is my internet acting flaky but my television service has been having issues too.

So does that mean I can actually pay less to keep the low tier? :3

Anyone lost service today? I call the 888 number and I rings then goes busy (!). Not only is the Internet beyond slow 90% of the time (had to stream you tube at 240k at 9 am this morning) but now I don't even have service. This isn't even a joke anymore.

It appears to be down. It shows as the modem being connected so there must be a routing issue.
