We got the increase acording to speedtest, but I honestly can't tell any difference based on daily use. We have own modem and router, both relatively new. Is it just me?

Browsing most sites there won't be as they can't serve fast enough to make a difference. Concurrent users and video will be the big differentiator. At least currently.

I'm going to have to call TWC and see what's going on... I'm supposed to have 300/30 now and I'm lucky if I'm seeing 95/25. I'm also seeing speed tests/downloads initially jump up to 70-80 and then drop quite a bit to a lower speed than I had prior to the upgrade.

Needless to say I'm quite annoyed.

Same here, although I'm not terribly annoyed....

You'll really appreciate the difference when you download something big like say... Black Ops 3 for the PlayStation 4.

Are you seeing those speeds hardwired to the modem or through a wireless router?

I had to buy a new wireless router to handle my new speeds.

See above, I just bought a new router, no difference. Hardwired directly to the modem, no difference. I'm not getting the full speed at the modem.

Ahh, didn't see the previous post. Wonder if degradation occurs every time they turn on new areas.

The same here. Got the faster speed hardwired, but not through wireless router. Purchased new wireless router couple of weeks ago, now get the same speed wired and wireless. However, I find periodically everything just slows down..did speedtest was getting 4mb. Rebooted cable modem to solve the issue.
