Looking good in 27511. Thanks to whoever posted the SMC modem deal a while back.

Here are my speed test results on wireless. For those of you debating the purchase of an AC router, buy one... You won't regret it.

EDIT: For some reason, it won't let me link to the image directly, so I have attached a link instead.

If you're having issues, check your router on this site - Router Charts - WAN to LAN Throughput

Turns out my N router with a gigabit switch only has a 100mb WAN link, so my max throughput is only 94Mbps. Needless to say a new router is arriving today.

Also, check your router to see if it has QoS/Device Prioritization settings. They may need to be switched off/on to reset any learned throughput behavior since it's now changed. Coworker had his upgrade almost 2 months ago and wasn't seeing it because of these settings.

Getting Extreme TWC. Just curious besides the SB6183 is anyone running a different modem for the 300 MBs service? I see Zoom 5370 / CM500/600 as alternative modems. Have read some TWC Forum chats where the SB6183 had software issues.

70 for 100/10? what modem do you have? 6141? if you get a better modem, you should be able to get 230/23 for the same price.

You should be getting 300/30 for 70. Call and ask them to either up your speed or lower your price. I did it last week (I was paying 100 for 50/5 aka 300/30) and they dropped me to 70.
