I have that router and have clocked 35mbps through it, while connected to a SB6141 (my zipcode doesn't get the speed increase until early November).
I thought it handled up to 54mbps but mine is not. I do not see any speed adjustments/config....just an old basic modem. I will play around with it. I actually have another old WRT54G I will try.

Make sure you are using WPA PSK-AES and NOT WPA PSK-TKIP for your wireless encryption. TKIP has a hard cap throughput that is pretty low. That would be the first thing I would check.
so for those of you that have been upgrade, i got the email last night. i don't have TWC cable tv, but is the HD quality visibly better now that it's been converted to digital?
"Now you can experience even better service with a 100% digital network for a crisper, clearer picture and sound."
Finally got the TWC speed increase. I went from 20mbps to 59mbps plugged directly into my SB6141 modem. However, back to 20mbps when I go through my old Linksys WRT54G wireless router. Guess it is time for a router upgrade....
Any economical wireless router recommendations? I do not plan on paying $200+ for a wireless router.
THanks!
Join Costco and buy one of the NetGear 802.11AC models. Lifetime returns policy, just like on my K-Cup brewer.
so just to confirm, if you have VOIP with TWC, you can't use your own modem for internet?
Yes, you can use your own modem. They will split the line and use your modem for Internet and theirs for phone. You avoid the monthly modem fee, even though you still have their modem...yes, it's stupid.
