I'm in 27529, Johnston county and speedtests show 41.2 mbps. I got an A+ for quality, d for speed and F for bufferbloat. I googled bufferbloat. Any easy fixes for that? Thanks!

Netgear R6300 Smart Wifi Router. I've had speeds as low as 2 mpbs, yes 2, that's not a typo. Thanks for any help!

I'm not sure what exactly I'm supposed to be looking for this to page to show, but there appear to be 16 and 4 downstream and upstream channels, respectively. Again, I'm not doing better than 37 mbps, so not sure what's up. Could it be that certain areas within a particular zip code have not been activated?

That is correct, but more on however TWC has segmented their network. Upgrades will continue until they are complete in this area. The 16/4 arrangement means that the segment that you are on it most likely ready for the upgrade. This *does not* mean that you'll get the upgrade when you see the 16/4 as we've had that in 27560 since the beginning of June and still haven't been upgraded. 27560 is slated for 11/3 according to the last set of dates being pushed around.

Finally got the TWC speed increase. I went from 20mbps to 59mbps plugged directly into my SB6141 modem. However, back to 20mbps when I go through my old Linksys WRT54G wireless router. Guess it is time for a router upgrade....

Any economical wireless router recommendations? I do not plan on paying $200+ for a wireless router.

THanks!

Have you checked the configuration on your router? That router likely supports a higher throughput

I have that router and have clocked 35mbps through it, while connected to a SB6141 (my zipcode doesn't get the speed increase until early November).
