Wouldn't that be something. Seems unlikely since he sold his house though.
I think the right decision would be to put Kat Campbell on evenings. I know it goes against seniority, but she really is the right fit, and I think they will probably risk losing her otherwise. Yes she's young and yes she's easy on the eyes, but she also seems really smart and knowledgeable. She is good at what she does.
I love Mike Maze, and I think Elizabeth Gardner is ok. But the reality is, business is business.
I wonder if they will put one on the 10 news and one on the 11 over on Fox 50. Is Maze doing both right now? I can't even remember. Kat Campbell is good, self confident. Like "I know I'm pretty but let's move on".
Even as desperate as WNCN probably is for a “get” hiring Fishel would be a huge mistake. A year from now, different story. But whatever caused him to get canned from RAL after that long can’t possibly have cleared itself up in a month.

WRAL, with former Greg Fishel no longer with the station, has posted a position for meteorologist and is weighing the look of its weather coverage going forward.
The job posting does not say what days or day parts the new meteorologist will work. Fishel was chief meteorologist and a leading member of WRAL's evening anchor team, generally working Monday to Friday. Changes at local television stations
Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel left WRAL in 2019.
“We were intentionally vague in the job posting just to see who’s out there," Joel Davis, the station's vice president and general manager, said Tuesday.

Agree but the ratings boost would be huge. They won’t care if they too have to let him go in a year. The question is - is he open to a return?
I saw the 17 ad about exciting changes to weather this morning. I think they are getting some type of car/truck based on seeing headlights in the ad and it was sponsored by a local Chevy dealership.
I think I remember someone saying they weren't going to replace Fishel. I could be wrong.
If I did I would have meant can’t replace Greg Fischel. They’ll name somebody chief meteorologist eventually, but they’ll never get another Fischel.
