I had a coworker at one place I worked talked about his new tie he bought over the previous weekend. It was a Jerry Garcia or Carlos Santana and retails for $x and he picked it up for a dollar at Goodwill. It was a bright, vivid tie and I could see either musician as the artist for it.
lol- my husband gave one of those away (with a bunch of other ties) to a Goodwill store last year. It was a gift and had never been worn-not his style.
