I know, there comes a time when the greatest gift you can give is removing your face and replacing it with a young hot male anchor for the public to look at.

Especially in a young tech-filled region like the Triangle.

That's what people here buy; it's the "uniform of the day". Welcome to the IT meritocracy where expensive clothes are more likely to make you suspected than respected, even in management. Discard any old copies of Dress for Success.

Even weddings and funerals are not suits-only anymore. It's no coincidence that Brooks Brothers, of all places, went mostly work-casual.

yes...i am guilty of both of those.

1. hijacking threads.
2. khakis everyday.

however, no pleats nor cuffs for public wear.
those pants are my lawn-mowing,
chain-sawing, and painting pants.

Yesterday Gerald Owens wore a tie that matched/coordinated with Katherine Brown's outfit. Nice touch. Guys don't need to spend $1,000 on a suit -- just have good tailoring.

I had a coworker at one place I worked talked about his new tie he bought over the previous weekend. It was a Jerry Garcia or Carlos Santana and retails for $x and he picked it up for a dollar at Goodwill. It was a bright, vivid tie and I could see either musician as the artist for it.

lol- my husband gave one of those away (with a bunch of other ties) to a Goodwill store last year. It was a gift and had never been worn-not his style.
