NJ,
Wow. I can't believe your agent told you to try a short sale. That's just crazy.

Morning all-NJ I have a friend in Jersey that makes cookies that look like dog poop-you could send some. Kick her butt and do it yourself.

Mr. L took me to lunch and then we even went out last night-what a guy!

I never realized that different areas it's customary and others not; I just thought it was a courtsey type thing for the seller to let them know, yes, I had actually showed their house. Plus from a BA side, when I'd show the house to my clients and there'd be like 6 other cards on the counter, well . . my client's saw them too and they'd realize others were looking at the house so if they liked it . . . . .

BARB- thanks Barb-shovel the shat on over LOL Always so generous - only a friend would ship DS to help another. Two gold stars for you Hope you're feeling better today. I slept OK, not great but OK. On the bright side there's always tonight!

LACE! LOL- are they "anus" cookies ?LOL>> (anise) hehehe. That was bad! Lacey, you're too funny. When I was little, maybe 7 or so, there was this boy who lived by my great-aunts that I just couldn't stand - annoying little turd - so one day I baked him some 'chocolate chip cookies' (w/help of my Aunt Charlotte who had a weird sense of humor like me) - well the boy thought the 'chips' were chocolate and I just watched him start wolfing them down until he finally got a clue what those 'chips' were LOL Needless to say, he did not bother me again So happy to hear Mr. L feeling so much better!

c21- thanks for the poop sister LOL>>Agent never called to tell me they even showed....I don't expect feedback. That's why I wasn't getting some of the agents on your thread who say they didn't leave cards (not customary in 'their area') BA don't usually call just to give feedback or to 'say' they actually showed the house, so unless your agent or the transaction coordinator calls the other agent you never know. That's why I can't understand what the big deal is leaving a card so at least ppl know their house was shown. Like that one mom who telecommutes and has toddlers. I would have been out of my mind with two toddlers in the car waiting and waiting and waiting

Stoy- maybe you will get a looker this weekend! Fingers crossed Stoy not only a looker but a buyer!!!!

Oooh AC, kid free . . . I do believe someone will be getting lucky today. Since it's been a while since you had a date, just don't be one of those couples where ppl are yelling 'Hey, get a room!" LOL actually, just throw DH down on a bench and, well . . . enjoy

Default Anyone up for a little vacation??

January 9, 2010 7 days and nights..

Carnival Liberty Cruise Ship, Carnival Liberty Reviews - Carnival Cruise Lines

I am seriously giving some thought to going on this cruise with Tex and her sister! Anyone care to join us...??

A week on the open sea...fun, sun, food, drinks, more fun...some great ports and some good old girl time!

Sails out of Miami, which is a beautiful port, goes to Carnival's private island for a day, Half Moon Cay, then on to St. Thomas, USVI, San Juan, P.R. and Grand Turk, with a couple sea days in there...

Anyway, thought if anyone else was interested we could bunk up and save some serious money..so inside cabin with 4 passengers...including fare, port charges and taxes would be 1,747.60 which is like $440 pp.

Can always go to an outside or even balcony for slightly more per person.

Anyway, just tossing it out there, I am still not sure if I can do it, but we have time to mull it over!

It's going to be so much fun...I really hope more of you will consider. Gives us a GREAT and WONDERFUL opportunity to meet each other! Food is free, along with coffee, tea, iced tea and lemonade. Pop and alcohol you must pay for, along with excursions at the ports and casino/gift shops on the boat. You could really make it economical by not gambling and not drinking alcohol. I plan to drink, but will watch my intake!!!
