Have you heard the phrase, "body, mind, and spirit?" His body was saying, "yes," but his mind or spirit was saying "no."
If I were you, I would not put myself in that situation again . . . it is not good for your self-esteem. Find someone who really digs YOU, body, mind AND spirit!!!
Whatever this guy's reasons, just chalk it up to "not that into you," and move on!!!! Don't waste anymore time trying to guess why.

SunshineFlower,
So I guess that if you are sexually aroused, doesn't matter who you are making out with, you will have sex on the spot, right?

Maybe it is like women do all the time keeping their options open while they enjoy being wined/dinned, score freebies, etc., right? Keeping men on the sidelines for replacements.
Why all the mystery? He didn't want to have sex, so what? Just look at it the other way around. Imagine a guy getting upset because his girl was sexually aroused, yet, she didn't want to have sex.

No $h!t!
If most men held women to a similar standard, many relationships wouldn't be in existence.
But really, the dude doesn't want to have sex with her, does she need to know why?!
Really?!? Bc that's not what his penis was saying when it went into full erection mode. He mostly did want to have sex with her but chose not to for other reasons.
My point is that it's no biggie. If there's significant depletion in your self-esteem because somebody refused to boink you ( just once for that matter), then your self-esteem was too high to begin with.

I have to admit did that a bit in the past with the wining and dining. But I focused on the man I was with. Didn't move on until it was over.
I thought it was odd because most men do want sex...and yes if I am aroused with the man I am dating I usually want it.
Let him do the chasing. You may be coming on too strong, too fast and you're freaking him out. Let the man be the man and let him set the pace of this thing.
