When men care about the quality of women they date, it is generally, usually their looks, physical appearence, but when women care about the quality of men, it is always non-physical attributes, confidence, attitude, character, power, social-status, social-skills, conversation-skills, is fun, interesting, etc. What I don't like is that the standards, traits, that make men successful with women also make him successful in life too, it makes him an overall better person, but women can be a loser and still attract men as long as they are hot, cute, pretty.

I don't think you give men enough credit. They are all not simpletons as you assert. There are men with depth and intelligence that require the same from their partners.
