I've lost count on how many people I got to know by just being outgoing, confident and a smile with just starting with small talk.
This is the ticket, for both men and women. Men (and some women) worry and complain so much about rejection, but if you make it a habit to just be outgoing and friendly with the people who cross your path everyday, it's not really a big, stinging rejection if someone doesn't respond. It's just part of you being you, and bringing a little cheer into others' lives and yours. It's just "neighborliness".
stop placing expectations on yourself and situations and just go out to have fun and enjoy life for what it is. no need to focus on silly things like a check list of do do and needs.
