Actually that sounds cute. I like it when someone is happy to be a little dorky!

I think any pick up lines are cheesy as hell, why they even exist i have no idea.
I said hello as in I greeted her with some benign words......More than just hello, but I don't remember what I said to her. She seemed to like it, though.

I'm not one to use pick up lines, but it inadvertently worked for me.

What do you consider public?

Those lines were given to me at a PARTY. I don't consider that "in public" (i.e. grocery store, school, library, gas station, etc). A place like a club, or out at a restaurant with friends from school, or a party...that's a social setting where "hitting on" someone (trying to meet them and possibly go out with them) is not out of the ordinary. I guess I did not understand what you meant by PUBLIC. I'm talking daytime hours, where you wouldn't normally expect to get hit on. Geez.

I had a guy come up to me, loudly exclaim 'WOW, THEM ******* IS HUGE, wanna go get coffee or something'? I was with a guy friend of mine and don't think I've ever heard him laugh that hard.

Oh, it was definitely a funny experience. I said 'stay classy', gave him a high five and we walked away

Wow! Oddly....I haven't really met too many people who comment on mine. At least not to my face. A few gay guys here and there. :P

Oh, I also had a rather inebriated man stumble up to me and tell me he wanted to climb me like a redwood tree.

College town. It's actually really common for me to get lewd comments loudly exclaimed in public. In fact, it's one of the reasons I don't go out often...it makes me really uncomfortable.
