A guy walked up to me in a department store and told me he was a producer (or some such nonsense), and handed me his business card..... complete with perforated edges (home made cards). /lol

I once said hello to a woman who misinterpreted what I said and thought I was trying to pick her up....and she went for it!

But I wasn't trying to pick her up, even though she was quite the hottie and I could have easily.

Had it been an actual pick up line, I have to say, it was a lame one. But it worked anyway.

I was at a rodeo with my 20-year-old cousin and watched some seedy 40-something guy ask her "Wanna go to the dog races with me tomorrow?"

I went to the movies a few weeks ago with my son, and when I was standing in the concession line, some young thug-looking guy comes up to me and says, "Hey babe...I'm no Fred Flintstone...but I can sure make your bed rock!" I couldn't help but laugh at the stupidity of the line, and the situation in which he said it (the movies, and not a night club), but it was overall pathetic. Good thing my son wasn't there with me at the moment or else I would have been horrified.

Hello is the best pick up line. It works on me almost every time. It doesn't feel contrived at all.

We had emailed each other back and forth for a while and had known each other through a shared interest, but had not actually met in person. I knew what she looked like, but she didn't know what I looked like. So when we finally met (at an event) I don't remember what I had said exactly, but she thought I had said, "Are you the one?" She gave me this huge, seductive smile and said, "I could be."

I was flustered, to say the least.
