I wonder if its like this. Ok there is nooo way that the person would leave their spouse. But they enjoy sex and are attracted to the person also married, also doesn't want to leave their spouse. Since the rules are laid out there and they have their lives set anyway then why not continue the sex? They both get what they want, the sex, anyway and no one else is getting hurt. I wonder if that's the justification?

They each have spouses, have children. they can maintain whatever they would like, but somewhere down the line, someone will get hurt. Cheating is never a good thing.....
Yes, they're cheating. Yes, someone may get hurt if they are caught. They may be making the best of a bad situation, and perhaps things would be worse for all and everyone would be sure to get hurt if they divorced. Who can say? Generally, I intensely dislike cheating and cheaters, but I am also realistic that it is sometimes the least bad solution to a problem. Of course, this is a highly polarized and politicized issue, and no matter what people think of it, cheating is and will always be a common occurence.
I understand the scenerio you are talking about, and it does make some sense. Sex isn't all there is to a marriage.
Still, I think these people are playing with fire because sex is tricky when you try to keep it as only a physical thing. Either one or both of them could start to develop feelings and then they will be in quite a pickle.
It's never as easy as you think. Sex will complicate things.
And what if one of their spouses found out? Someone will get hurt. An innocent person will get hurt and that's just not cool.
What I always wonder is why people knowlingly(?) create records of such escapades on the internet and on their computers/IP addresses.
