Uh, yeah.

They're a perfect match for a geeky bookworm girl like me.

My boyfriend's a nerdy, sci fi reading, dorky t-shirt wearing, Firefly-watching, English majoring, Cracked.com-reading, card-carrying geek. Of course, he's also a muscular, hard as nails military officer and Iraq war veteran, so he's fairly multifaceted.

I married one.

I like all the things you mentioned, as does my husband, but other than our nerdy streaks we are very different - which I think adds balance. I love fishing, kayaking, and have a lot of street smarts. He is more of a homebody and can run circles around me discussing grammar, math, and music.

Not only did I marry him, but I had to chase after him just to get a first date!

D: all the above but doctor who... never watched it! LOL

My question though, is doctor who really that nerdy? Isn't it a typical prime time show in the UK?

I think a lot of nerds ended up being fairly successful and probably outgrew the tape on the glasses.........

Now some of the "studs" and "jocks" that are working low end jobs don't seem to be so cool... LOL... just from what I've heard.....

The problem is, that's just a stereotype that isn't always true. The nerd who is book smart isn't always rich in the end and the jock isn't always as dumb as everyone thought, and his people skills might get him further than you might think.

Can go both ways.
