Bingo!
In retrospect the pager should have been insight of how people were going to behave with mobile phones. Remember those things? I recall seeing people snapping those things off their belts every 5 seconds to check for pages.
LOL...my husband used to have one of those. I remember when I was pregnant with my first...we had codes. If I started labor it was 411, if I had to get to the hospital it was 911...LOL

Never had one of those things. Although I carried one when for work when it was my turn in the rotation for roadside assistance.
I didn't own a cell phone until we bought the condo and decided to ditch the land line.

I got my first cell phone for Christmas when I was 25. Husband bought it because we lived out in the sticks and he didn't want me getting stuck on a back road somewhere.
I still carry a freaking pager. It's a fire pager. I get dispatches sent to my phone. However, it isn't the most reliable. So I have both. Oh and a two way radio.

Thanks for thinking of me! Today was my last day of work, so I am officially unemployed. Woo hoo. I do have lots to get done next week before my family gets here. Running another 5K tomorrow morning, but my coping strategy today was sugar. Lots and lots of sugar. I will probably be dragging tomorrow!

I can't believe I used to eat like this all the time. I feel so gross! It is my goal to keep a schedule while I'm off work. If I get stuck in a pity party it will be bad news.
