Really?

The vast, VAST majority of "hunters" that I have met do it for the sport of it. It's not about getting the venison, it's about getting the trophy buck in the process.

It's about the sport, the "fun" of it all.

Yeah, I don't get it, and never will.

Therefore, I exercise my right to say "no" to those who find their jollies in hunting. Simple.
If you eat meat, you're a hypocrite.

Secondly, you seem contradictory. You avoid hunters, but you've met enough to develop a "vast majority" opinion of them? Hmmm

To be honest with you, every single hunter I know in person, eat their kills.

I don't understand your reasoning. Do you have the stats on how many people are injured or die while at yard sales, crafting it antiquing?

I call BS. I do not know a single deer hunter that doesn't utilize the meat.

I'm not into answering questions where mine have not been previously answered.

Answer mine first, please.

I know a LOT of hunters.
ALL of them eat their kills.
Every single one.

But ALL of them do the whole hunting thingl for fun. They're not out there because they suddenly crave venison. Which you can incidentally buy in stores.
It's FUN.

I think that's a weird (if not outright sick) mentality.

Let's kill things for fun!

If you eat meat, you are OK with animals being slaughtered.

To disagree with hunting but you still eat meat, you are OKing one type of killing (one that in all reality, is much more brutal and inhumane) because it suits your needs, and then shaming another type of killing because you don't like men getting a thrill from it? Even if they use the meat?

Please. You are a hypocrite.
