LMAO.... Now all the qualifiers come out "good looking" "new" "metro area"... and messages not "well thought out"....
So the average woman, who's been around the site for a while, who might be older, who lives in a smaller town... In other words, MOST women, do NOT get hundreds of messages daily.
I don't know why people are in denial that women get a heavily inundated email inbox. I have spoken with women in real life that had experienced. Some deleted their accounts because they figured it was too much work.
Oh, I'll correct that to "moderately good looking". lol
I guarantee that good looking women new to a dating website in a metro area easily receive 100+ messages a day. They may not be well thought out by the majority of the guys sending them, but they are receiving that volume nonetheless.
That is not what the data shows or what most women claim. The very attractive may get 20+/day on sites like OKC, upwards of 50+ on PoF when they are new, but give it a few weeks and the numbers drop. Y'all keep pulling numbers out of nowhere to continue perpetuating this "imbalance." Where's Hivemind. He addressed the *real* numbers a couple years ago. Not this hyperbolic nonsense by disgruntled red pill and mgtow acolytes.
Notice they're saying 100 per week, which sounds about right. For the very attractive women. But there's an obvious range from a few a week to 100+ depending on several factors. I've known women to only get a few a week.
It also varies by site as well. When I was new to PoF or had been off for months and reinstated my profile, 75+/day during the first couple weeks. A lot of super thirsty dudes. Once things died down, 30+. PoF seemed more "busy" in my areas than either Match or OKC. In the sense that there was far less involved in the searh process and messaging people via the "now online" page lends to the abundance of messages vs. through the usual search function.
OKC had a different vibe and culture all-around. Not as busy and there's more involved in its approach to setting up matches and the visibility of profiles. 20+/day during the new period with a lot of 4-5 star ratings, and then it tapered off to 10-20/day. 100s? That is not a "women" issue. Even the most messaged woman on OKC was "only" getting 35, on average. That lines up well with the above experiment.

Look, I'm not homely. Dudes of all walks of life in Atlanta and So/NorCal were into my look/appearance. They said as much. For whatever reasons. The bulk of those messages, namely on PoF, were gibberish, and I did get a sht-ton of messages when "new," which is why I made my profile invisible on multiple occasions. I preferred the freedom to browse profiles and message the kind of men that piqued my curiosity. I would unhide my profile every so often. But the vast majority of even attractive women do not maintain 50s+/day after that new period. One of my super hot girl friends, like crazy model gorgeous, naturally so, was the type to get these sort of messages. I can definitely see her getting 100+ on places like PoF. But most women? Nah.

Is there a dating site where only women are allowed to initiate contact with men? I seem to remember ads for a site like that a few years back, but the ads made the women out to be extremely superficial and flighty, so it might have scared men off. If done correctly such a site might be very successful.

OK Cupid, but...the men don't like it for that reason.
It's bumble...not OK Cupid. TT-- you should actually experience what your talking about before you give advice. What OLD site did you use, and for how long?

Both actually, are similar in messaging format that favor the women.

Is bumble a tinder style hook up site or a more standard dating type site?

I don't agree that OKC favors women, but Ok, next question.
Women that respond here, explain that no- no matter how attractive they are, they -nor any of their attractive friends get 100+ messages a day. Far less.
Why do you think they would make that up?
How would it benefit them to lie?
