Even if I was single, I don't think I could have one. Intimacy has always been important to me in a relationship , but I don't think I could have casual sex with a female friend. Sex changes things.
Had one for two weeks, ended two days ago. Main issue was the time, she works all day I work often until the early hours of the morning. Times I was wanting / able she wasn't and vice versa.
I had ALOT in college. When I graduated with my BSN there were 132 people in our graduating class. 129 of them were women and the other 2 guys were gay! WHEEEEEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had two when I was single. After the second, I swore off them. Because the notion of Friend With Benefits is just a myth. No matter what gets said ahead of time, after a few romps in the sheets, a woman will always think she's in a relationship. There's just no such thing as No Strings Attached.

It worked for me in college. I didnt have time for a draining relationship with working 2 jobs and keeping up my GPA so I had several, some at the same time. After graduation we all went our seperate ways. Then I got serious with one guy, got married. Man did that suck. Wish I kept up the FWB thing.
Yeah... as tempting as it sounds, I can't quite see it working, either...
But it does work, you both get what you want and then move on.
