OP here. I saw my friend today at church. This is soooo messed up.
The name on the prescription is her father-in-law who will be 78 years old in 2 months and has been widowed for 5 years. AND he is a REALLY unhealthy man. She can't understand why his doctor would give it to him, then why her husband had it.
She told me a lot of stuff today that I had no idea about. Her husband has never had an *issue* in their marriage. This guy was getting sex EVERYDAY then pouted, whined and complained when it slowed down after my friend had 2 babies in less than 2 years. Plus, they already had 4 kids. He told her if she didn't give it to him as often as he wanted it , EVERYDAY, he'd get it somewhere else. Things have been strained since then.
I don't ANYBODY having sex on a daily basis...
sounds like he told her to me...he IS getting it on the side. even if he isn't he sounds like a jerk
She tried again last night. Again, he got defensive and acted like he was the victim. So, she stopped talking to him. And today he asks, how long are you going to treat me like I don't exist?
I've known her for 32 years. She is the nicest person I have ever known. And I mean really nice, not fake nice. I think she is in shock and I know I am.
She: "Why are your father's prescription in your travel bag?"
He: "What are you accusing me about?"
She: "This is my question."
He: "It's not my fault!"
She: "Just tell me, why you have someone else's prescription."
He: "I'm the victim!"
Those types of answers won't go too far with me. I just don't get it how she can accept his non-answering.

She's not accepting it. I think he is hoping she will just let this go.

Wow, that sure changes my train of thought over the situation here I wanted to give all the benefit of the doubt. Doctors will not give Viagra if there are any heart problems.... no way, no how and at nearly 80 I am sure her father in law isn't cruising the singles bars.
Sex is an expression of love between two people it isn't an entitlement just because you get married. Some guys embarrass me for being male.
The bastard is cheating on the side and blaming her for it! This is outrageous!

He refuses to answer her and still plays the victim. How original.
Let's see... a viagra bottle with some other guy's name on it in his travel bag. I don't think it's another lady the wife should be worrying about.
ding ding ding we have a winner. rep comin.
