In the end of ends, in all cultures, it's always the man who has to beg for sex.
My very personal freedom is to refuse to play that game.
Hence I can look at my figure without shame each morning when I shave : priceless!

Hi GypsySoul22,

When ever I see a thread or post about women and foreign men I am happy to see it. People should find what they want. What I see instead in a thread like this is sour grapes. Why reinforce the stereotype? When I would see some foreign man gain a lot of attention, it was interesting to me. I used it as a learning experience. American men also lack seducing ability. However I never concerned myself with it. I am not interested in men.

The whole society has issues. We are overworked and androgynous. This is painted on a canvas of insipid strip malls and sagging power lines. Then we pack in to the restaurants because of our helplessness in hospitality. Its really very ugly to me.

Hi pigeonhole,

One does not need to beg when it is already purchased through effort. Thus I never had this problem.

Aussies aren't really gooey or romantic compared to Americans, we're more down to earth. Dating is a pretty casual affair here, for sure. I'm not sure what it's like in the US but from movies etc it seems it's more formal, and there's still a higher expectation for the man to be a gentleman.

So...on one hand American women are so masculine, and think they don't need men, yet they still chase men with the biggest diamond ring, who can provide for them the best? According to the vibe i get from here.

Damn, these threads always make me wonder how we, foreign-born Americans, fare. Neither fish... nor lobster... Maybe we're mermaids! Shall I start a thread...?!

Hi Trimac20,

Actually in Russia they don't have that stupid tradition to fatten up De Beers. So in general they will not chase you for a ring. So much for everyone being the same.

I'm not surprised. Russian women seem more down to earth and warm compared to American women.
