Because there is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood (Hebrews 9:22). The first sacrifice ever made was God killing an animal to provide skins for Adam and Eve after they sinned.
If God sends everyone to hell, or saves everyone....where is his sovereignty in the matter? He has no freedom to make a choice of who is saved. God is sovereign though, and he does elect some to salvation.
Preacher I'm a little curious, maybe you can explain how in one part of this sentence you say that your god has no sovereignty and then in the same sentence you say that your god is sovereign, is that not a contradiction of terms? How can one person not have sovereignty and yet be sovereign?
Having said that, how does free will require the ability to choose more than 1 thing? If there is only one choice--and that is the choice I make....what difference does it make if there are not more choices? We are still responsible for our actions.
In order to have free will you have to have more than one choice otherwise it's not free will and this is something that you're entitled to believe in, but in reality we all have many choices.
God is no respector of persons just conditions. If your not believing in the one true god, gods hands are tied, remember he iss the one who created free will thank god or we would be just robots for god.aperson who is desitute,or whatever, its just simple unbelief. If its a child then its the parents responsibility to believe for him or till they have been instructed enough to underostand how believing works from the word andmore importantly how to opperate lt. Not gods fault people are suffuring most nations a steeped in idolitry.

The Bible says God chooses whom to elect for salvation based on his will. It's up to him. He's sovereign. He wouldn't be sovereign if he isn't able to choose.

Who says? If your choice lines up with the only one available you can still choose to do that.

I want to say here and now...I must distance myself from anyone ever thinking I believe this way.
That is pretty much saying if you do not believe in the Judaic God...'the one true god' (sic)...then
that is why 'nations are suffuring' (sic)...if I read this incorrectly, I'm sorry.
But, in the same post "God is no respector of persons'....as long as you are not steeped in idolatry, that is.
Soooo, Allah followers, Krishna followers, the Great Spirit believers and the Agnostics
and atheists and pagans are just s.o.l.
I do not believe this way...I must state again.
Sorry sterling, I'm sure you're a great guy.
