A person is denying Jesus by attending a gay marriage. Jesus said:
Matthew 10
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Sounds like your version of God has an over inflated ego. Sorry bub, but I love my family a whole lot more than some God who can't even be bothered to show himself.

I would agree. If someone said to you, "I hate who you are!", would you not think they hated you? Being gay isn't like stealing or murder. You aren't born a thief or murderer, you are born gay. They are different, and anyone with a rational thought in their body can see that.
A person chooses to act on their desire to take someone's belongings (a thief), and a person chooses to act on their desire for the same sex (homosexuality); it's all a choice to engage in these behaviors.
The sin is gay sex. First off the Bible only mentions it a few times. It's our modern culture that makes it so relevant. If murder was acceptable in our society you'll see people quoting verses about murder is wrong. That being said one of the reasons why is homosexuality such a high crime in the Bible is because (1) they are the main contractees of STDs and (2) homosexuality of that day especially often involved underaged boys.
Neither of which points to homosexual relations as being "sin" in themselves, but to profligacy and abuse. You always conflate the two because the simple fact is that you have nothing to show that a homosexual relationship is harmful in itself any more than is a heterosexual relationship with the very real possibility of profligacy and/or abuse.

Sure, sure. I am the fool, yet you are the one talking to yourself and hoping for reward in the afterlife. You are the one thinking the way to do so is by treating others as garbage here in the present (You know, the only thing we know for sure is real?). Entirely true, and His influence is discernable in the way we demonstrate the love He taught. It's really the way we can tell whether anyone has actually MET him or just the doctrines he has been taught by men.
