Today is a day to honor all the mothers in our life and today we should honor the greatest mother of all.... Mother Earth.

Today is a day for me to give thanks, to give thanks to the Creator for allowing me to see another anniversary of my birth. I returned thanks to our mother, the Earth, which sustains us, and returned thanks to the rivers and streams, which supply us with water. I returned thanks to all herbs, which furnishes medicines for the cure of our diseases. I returned thanks to the moon and stars, which have given to us their light when the sun was gone. I returned thanks to the sun, which is looked upon the earth with a beneficent eye. Lastly, I returned thanks to the Creator, in whom is embodied all goodness, and who directs all things for the good of His children.oasy

Thank you Goodpasture! It was a very nice day. We dressed up in Renaissance garb and it really was a lot of fun. My mother and brother came out from California. It almost felt as though my dad was with us in spirit as well (he's been gone since I was 17 in the mid-1980's). While I've been married before, I didn't actually have a wedding the first time.

I can't imagine spending $100,000 on a wedding. I think ours came in for just under $8000 and that includes the honeymoon to Costa Rica.

Blessings,
pnc

We have had several violent storms lately. Last night was one with about 70 mph winds and rain so heavy the interstate was slowed to 30 mph. I am seriously thinking about shifting to New Mexico for the summer.......you know it is getting serious when the storm chasers are hanging out near your house.

ptsum, any updates?

pnc.......is the honeymoon over or is it still all bliss?
