I had a dream last night that I was seeing a show with some of my friends and I went topless. At first I was fine - and then the realization that I was topless set in and I was totally embarassed.
I blame all of you for this dream.
That shouldn’t bother you. I swim topless all the time, often in hot weather I run topless, and it never bothers me or the people I run with. Being a person who believes in sexual equality I think it is only fair to give you the same right. I am not sure about topless in a movie. I often get cold in a movie and in most cases would wear a shirt, but if I forgot or if it was one of those older outside movies I think it would be OK also.
I would be all for joining a march to bring this topless movement into the public mainstream. I bet we could get a grant under the beautifying America foundation for such a movement.

Would this be something similiar to "Adopting A Highway?"
June's still confused how a potential "City-Data Nude Beach Week" turned into a potential political endeavor....
OK here is a collection of choices for Caribbean beached for the CD Nude Beach. From all I read the Virgin Islands or at least the American Virgin Islands have laws against nudity, but due to the French (bless their hearts) there is no shortage of nude and topless beaches in the Caribbean. It might be the most common way to sun and swim from the short internet search I did. Here are a few to review, I sort of like the Orient Beach on St Martin. I have included an album on my page with photos of the beaches less the bodies or real bodies anyway.
Saline Beach
The path leading to Saline Beach is short but can be a bit tricky; however, it is well worthwhile especially if you enjoy nude sunbathing (head to the left of the path for the unofficial naturist section of the beach). There's no services or shade on the beach, however, so even if you leave your swimsuit at home be sure to bring your own food, drinks, umbrellas and chairs. Windier and a bit rougher than some other St. Barths beaches, so be careful if you swim on this unprotected beach.
For a small island, St. Barths has a wide variety of beaches, all of which are open to the public and all of which are lined with beautiful white sand. Here you'll find the typical Caribbean resort beaches with their hotels, restaurants and watersports centers, but also some hidden strands inhabited mostly by locals -- or nobody at all. St. Barths also is one of the Caribbean's most popular destinations for topless and nude sunbathing, so even if you're not prepared to show it all, be prepared to see it all.
Orient Beach, St. MartinThe Dutch Caribbean countries have a very relaxed attitude toward topless sunbathing, so you can feel comfortable giving the "girls" some sun whether you are on the French or Dutch side of St. Martin/St. Maarten. For bottomless sunbathing, however, stick to Orient Beach on the French side, where it's not uncommon for entire families to be enjoying the sun and surf in the buff.
Grand Saline and Gouverneur Beach, St. Barths
You'll find nude and topless sunbathing and swimming common throughout the French West Indies, including St. Barths, Guadeloupe, Martinique, and St. Martin. The attitude here is very laid-back: nude or not, it's your choice. St. Barths is a great destination for baring it all on the beach because some of its best strands, Grand Saline and Anse du Gouverneur, are clothing-optional. Not to mention that St. Barths is known for attracting the "beautiful people" to its upscale resorts and beaches ...
Hawksbill Bay, Antigua
Named for a uniquely shaped offshore rock formation, Hawsksbill Bay is a romantic, crescent-shaped public beach that's divided into a number of sections, one of which is the island's only nude beach. Hawksbill is close to the better-known Galley Bay and is one of Antigua's legendary 365 beaches -- one for each day of the year.
Negril has always had a free-spirited reputation, so its no surprise that the famous Seven Mile Beach is a magnet for topless -- and sometimes nude -- sunbathing. You can catch a glimpse of extra flesh almost anywhere along this strand, but especially around the Hedonism II and Grand Lido Negril resorts, each of which has its own nude beaches.

June needs a photo pictorial in order to know which of the above she could consider running down with corn rows, but so far, it looks like she's voting for St. Martin and St. Barths.

I don't think it's a case of actually being ashamed of being naked, it's learning when and where it's acceptable to be.
I am not ashamed at all by my naked body. Who sees it is what matters and how.
I see no problem with the naked body as it is, only how it is portrayed in the media and for entertainment, when the naked body is used for mere titillation, to present it as something for sexual objectification or ridicule etc.
