All you need to do is buy an apartment building and become a landlord yourself. Then you can become a greedy landlord leeching off the backs of hardworking people too!
When I had my own place the Bank didn't care what my income was as long as I paid the bill. But LL they all up in your business wanting too know what you spend your income on. then they tell you your kids don't need this don't need that What to Eat what not to eat! I borrowed money using my car the LL said Instead of buying something I Need I could pay more in rent! & told me to Sell the car & what I got for my Disability! All LL want to do is suck you dry. No thanks I don't want to become a Slumlord This place is falling apart they don't care. You must be the new owner cause all he does is brag about crap & trips he goes on. Paying the mortgage is about ALL he does.
Of course the bank cares - that's part of the underwriting of the loan. Income, assets, liabilities, credit history, etc.... well, that's the way it is now and should be.
I'm guessing if that was not your experience - you must have bought during the craziness that lead to the housing crisis.
I don't care what they say. In my area of NY no one can afford rent making only $15.00 an hour. The only thing that will be accomplished by raising the minimum wage is that I will have to pay $10 for a gallon of milk at my local 7-11.
Well there's your problem. Buying milk at a 7-11 is never the cheapest option to begin with.
So you live off the backs of others to Pay for your kids lessons... things the kids Don't need. Yet you tell your tenants to do with out.... Seems to me You LL needs another job so your kid can enjoy those lessons.

How about that tenant pay the AGREED UPON RENT at the TERMS spelled out in the lease? I guess stealing is OK with you? Because that's what non-payment of rent really is.

What a crock. Since when doesnt a bank care what your income is when you get a mortgage? Not only do they want your pay stubs, they want your bank statement and your income tax returns.
If LLs are so awful, go buy yourself a place. Then you'll have no one to whine about. Until something needs to be fixed and you'll have to pay for it yourself.
a disabled person is not a leach they are getting back what they paid for when the worked. people like don trump a leaches his nyc properties are tax deferred fo 40 more years and gets mor tx brakes than all of us,
Wrong. Many disabled people get disability benefits and have never worked a day in their lives.
so then the ones who never worked and get ssi(not the same as ssdi) should starve? just because the are unable to work in your book.
Of course not and I never said that. SSI is funded by the federal government (taxpayers). I was simply pointing that out. Please don't put words in my mouth.
Also, many SSI recipients also receive food stamps that are also federally funded, so I doubt they would starve.
