I live near NYC...and yes, their are plenty of very large apartment complexes in my area. Most are low income or section 8. What is your point?

You can do that in the rural area but then you want the convenience of being in town. Something have to give here. You can't expect to have it all and blame it to the government.

That's property that has 2 homes on one property BUT IF the lot is broke up is TOO small for either home do to perhaps Water or Sewer. Sounds like a Mother-in-Law home. You clam you want to be or have been studying to be a Lawyer. So go to the Courthouse & find out why & IF there is a way to separate the property. IF its Not water or sewer say they have City water Sewer the Owner can pettion to have separate deeds.

Any questions on that Needs to be addressed in the REALTORS Forum. Where you get better advice.

BZZT!

This is why you're not a successful business owner...you have no clue what it takes to run a business. Do you really think the only cost to being a landlord is property taxes??

No, they don't and no, they don't.

Does your landlord (who is a freaking genius, by the way) require you to submit your employment and income information on a yearly basis? No, he doesn't. Katie's does because she's living off the govt and that's what they require.

Soon as I saw who this was started by I knew it would turn into the same bs freemkt always posts. I'm surprised you guys still argue with this simpleton about the same stuff.

14 posts a day, maybe you could get a transcription job with all that free time on your hands and stop playing the victim. Some people want change and go earn it, others are fine living in squaller as long as they perceive they have someone to blame. I have more to show for my life than you because I wanted it more than you do. Trash will always be trash.

Of course I understand that property taxes are only one of numerous rental property operating costs.
