I think you are thinking of Rachael976.

This other poster Rachael had moved to Port St. Lucie, bought a home, got cancer I think but I enjoyed her posts.

I miss all these souls.

That was Robino1. Tragic situation as I recall it. She'd had colon cancer, fought and won, then went on with her life. Skipped one or (or maybe) more followups. The cancer came back while she wasn't looking, and this time it was a lot meaner than before.

Robino never stopped being upbeat. Our last communication from her was that she thought she had 6 months to live. She died only a few days later.

I thought about her last month while I was having my long-overdue colonoscopy. If they found cancer in me, I hoped I could be as positive and brave as she was.

If anyone is wondering about me, I'm retiring in a month, thankful I'm able.

Sorting out life, trying to do what's important to me.

I'm hoping to set a schedule that allows weekly c-d time, plus writing, house maintenance, horse & dog, and Bible time.

Right now I'm in fb jail and that's not a bad thing.

There are several posters I've known over the years, Elkhunter was the mod for the Montana forums when I joined. He ran a tight ship but was ways welcoming and willing to help anyone. He had a Border Collie service dog he really loved that was with him to the end.

There was a great old man, Montana Griz that I really enjoyed chatting with, but he was in his 80s and I Haven't heard from him in a long time.

There was a poster that lived back east, Mac Muz who was a buckskiner. Loved to dress up like an Indian from the French and Indian War time frame. He was just gone one day. Haven't heard from him in years.

There have been some great members of City-Data. I miss them.

This is a good thread, as I tend not to miss past members until someone points out that they are gone.

What is amazing is that they imagine they are being clever or original.

Wait, What?
Rachel1976 got banned, played dead, and masqueraded as a 'Friend of Rachel' to gin up sympathy ??

I enjoyed Rachel's posts, even if they were bat-bit crazy at times. Come back Rachel.....just say 20 'We The Peoples' and all will be forgiven !!

FYI, Rachel976 is not dead, but she will not be returning to City Data. (Also, she never, in any way, claimed to be dead.)

Hmm, so someone else--a returning troll who has used multiple names--randomly decided to claim another banned poster was dead. Could happen.
