Brenda-by-the-sea?

Apparently she was only active on CD for about 12 months, and that was 10 years ago.
She had two CD friends, but it looks like neither of them has posted for nearly a decade either.

She put up some thoughtful posts about Oregon and N Calif (and other topics too).
I wasn't on CD back then to say hello... too bad.

I've always enjoyed Mircea's very intelligent and thoughtful posts. He seems to come around only a few times a year now and it's been awhile.

Hope all is well.

I, too, enjoyed his posts. Mircea is still pretty young, maybe early 50's - a disabled vet as I recall. Lots of posts on 10/31/21 and prior - last visited the board 11/01/21 - then nothing. Worrisome, indeed.

Reading through and I see I posted on this back in 2019 ( post #18). I do recognize quite a few of the names mentioned, not all. I have been on these forums a longggg time but not as constant.
I definitely remember Clark Park and Montana Griz (which I used to think was Girls but learned was not!). So I just re-checked and last post from Clark Park was Jan 2020.

Lots of great posters. Hard to say sometimes if people just lose interest or accessibility.

AksarbeN just stopped posting. His last post was on 10-04-20. He was a frequent poster, very friendly, and it would be unlike him to just leave. But he was old and had health issues, so I suspect he is no longer with us. I miss him, too. He was such a nice man.

I'm glad you cleared that up, I don't know why these rumors get started.

I don't know how this thread found its way to Retirement, but I miss Clark Park too. He was an interesting person. Wasn't he the one who lived in an antique house and rented rooms to people?

I had no idea he had an obesity problem and diabetes, had surgery to correct it and surgery again for the skin. I'm afraid now because he had so many surgeries that he might not still be here on earth among us. Also, I am worried about SouthernBelleinUtah.
