well, mine is finally getting better, although she did blow a gasket when I actually bought the bike. As with most things in life, she gets it now and can see that once again I was right and it was a good move..

ok, I need everyone to go out for a run please and let me know how long it takes you to work up a sweat..

I used to be able to get sweaty just changing clothes for a run, but now it takes at least a mile or so just to get a little warm and this was just about an hour ago. Is that normal? I know why I used to sweat, but haven't been this weight since around high school, so I can't remember how it was back then.

It was 80 when I was running and that's not exactly cool.. besides, running should make you sweat, or at least I'm pretty sure it always made me sweat before. Now it takes at least a mile or two before my head gets a little wet and even when I'm done, I'm still not exactly sweaty. I usually go 4-5 miles and today really sucked since I took the last almost two weeks off. That was a mistake..

My goal is to at least run the Rock N Roll half marathon next year. Definitely need to step it up, though, and figure out why my right foot is suddenly bigger than my left. I can tell it's bigger because the shoe on my right foot won't lace up as tight as the one on my left foot and it just looks bigger. Not sure what's up with that one, but I'll be sure to ask the doctor on my next visit.

What's wrong with a real bike? I'm still single for a couple more days...

had a more productive run today and now I'm sweating pretty good.. Guess I just wasn't feeling it yesterday and didn't push it hard enough to work up a sweat. Now to post something in the WC thread about the wonderful drivers in this neighborhood..
