2008 Sportster 1200 Custom. So far I've only sunk an additional $2K or so in things to go with it and on me when I'm on it.. mostly for things to go on me when I'm on it and even when I'm not

You need a Nassau Bahamas Harley t-shirt. They have a tiny little Harley shop. Also, if you fly through the Denver airport, get ya a Mile High Harley shirt. Harley clothes are cool and I wish I was a biker chick. It's always been one of those things I secretly wanted to be. Without the whole "old lady" and "if you can read the back of my shirt, the B fell off" mentality. LOL

After I had the cast off, I still couldn't walk right for three months. I have a huge scar on my leg and I used to cover it up, especially while it was still in the horror-movie stage of healing. It wasn't obvious that anything was wrong with me unless someone saw me trying to walk.

It's funny though, when you're in your own wheelchair no one looks at you at all. It's like you're invisible, except to kids (maybe because of the glittery cast). Kids used to come up and ask what happened to me, and the parents would get embarrassed and start trying to drag them away.

I would kill to go for a ride. But, then I'd be single............not for going riding with you, but for being on a bike, period. I've been shot down every time I beg for a little Softail or a giant Road King. He gets a little freaky.

But thank you! A girl can dream.

gets a little freaky in a good way? You actually want to buy one for yourself? I likes that a lot. The world needs more women bikers.

Yes, I drag him to the Harley shop every 9 months or so. I want a bike badly.....he was going to get me a SCOOTER (road, not grocery LOL) when gas jumped up. That was the closest I came to 2 wheels and I almost blew it when I mentioned putting my son on the back of it. Yeah, freaky in a bad way.

oh, time to trade up to a new, more understanding model then

You'd be surprised how uneventful riding is around here. You'd think it would be awful with the way they drive around cars, but they usually give me a lot of room and stay out of my way. The only down side is when I have to get back in a car and deal with the real life most of us drivers have to face every day. The rudeness and stupidity that is your daily SA commuter...

It's taken 15 years to learn that it takes about that long to wear him down. LOL I'm close!!! I usually get my way, he's just a stubborn one.
